I didn't want to hardwire any of my accessories so I opted for a 3 plug DC
adapter. It sits under my seat where everything is plugged into...with the
exception of my cellphone charger.

Subject: DML: How to hard wire accessories

I just got a speeding ticket yesterday and unfortunately I had my radar
detector unplugged because I was charging my cell phone. I currently have a
radar detector, a scanner, a cell phone and a portable CD player all vying
for one cigarette plug. I would love to be able to hard wire in my scanner
and my radar detector but I have absolutely no knowledge of electrical work.
I am not worried about the CD player as I am going to get a head unit soon.
Any pointers of how I can do this? Remember I am a rookie at this but I can
do it.
