        Sorry for the delay, I cut out early on friday.
Yes...each amp has its own gain (volume control). Some amps like my MTX Thunder 5400 have an
"EBC" jack for an external bass control dial. I'm sure the hiss will be eliminated with better RCA
cable that are shield using your head unit ground.

Can i leave the deck wires hanging there not in use if i split the rca
output? Could i still adjust the sound of the speakers without effecting
the subs also? thanks
