Emissions have nothing to do with the muffler. They honestly could care less
what's after the cat. The only time they get concerned is is the muffler has
too many holes in it to get a good "Sniffer" reading. Yup, we actually failed
vehicles for faulty mufflers (not emissions related either) because we couldn't
get a good reading from all the holes in them. (BAR-90 Days)
