Very well said Ed. I don't know if any of your CA people remember this, but
there was a news clip on the "Street Racers" in Northern California quite a few
years ago (early 90's) where they showed a clip of a Mustang driver loosing
control and driving into a few bystanders. I was there just a few runs before
that happened (with my old Camaro) and that happened on Bailey Road in San
Jose, CA! We left because these idiots were getting out of hand. (Good thing
we did.) We also used to play around in large parking lots (after hours) and
in the dried up lakebeds during the 7-year drought...SO WHAT?!? Nobody got
hurt because there was nobody else around and if there was, we went somewhere
else. (Destroying your own vehicle is one thing...destroying someone else's
life is another.)
I'm with Ed...BTDT. (Yeah, I still have my occasional fun on back roads
though.)
