plastic in my intake, because my whole truck would be
totaled at this point. My tube is not rigidly
connected to the fenders, it's coupled by the rubber
tube going to the air hat. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm no

be buying me a new truck anyway. >>
i used a straight three inh rubber coupling to a pvc 90 on my truck. the
only anchor point on my poboy is on the motor where the stock air hat used to
sit. in an accident of sufficient intensity to cause my intake to shatter it
would have to buckle my hood down into the intake and not up like it is
designed to do in a crash(ye old accordian look).
good thought though. my concerns with pvc leaned more towards the vapours
that come off the glue being explosive and potentially gumming up my engine.
never croosed my mind about what if i was in an accident. but as has been
said before in an accident that severe the last thing i'm going to be
worrying about is the motor in my truck.
thanks
