A tuned-runner intake is generally called a Helmholtz Resonator. If anyone has
seen a Buell motorcycle in the last few years, they have these (the big black
intake scoop on the left-hand side). Ugly as sin, but supposed to give 5 or so
HP due to the acoustic effect of the incoming air pulses (5% on a 100 HP bike).
