My rubber bushing on my steering rack (pwr steering GenII) are starting to
crack and crumble. I was under there this evening and touched one and a
peice fell off into my hand. So, that solves one question, but brings up
another. I now know where the clucnk in my steering was coming from. Now my
question. Energy suspensions makes poly urethane replacements for them.
Would I see any difference in steering with the urethane bushings? I know
they would last alot longer, but would it increase the steering response in
anyway? Also, does anyone else have or know someone who has polyurethane
bushings for their cab and bed mounts on a Gen II? Whom did you get them
from? Energy suspensions lists them, but no one seems to carry them anymore.
Thanks
