No prob. Alex.

On the street I've noticed a little push when cornering while on the gas but no
noticeable increase in tire wear (I rotate my tires at 6k religiously though).
As far as noises go, you will hear it operating from time to time but nothing
nasty... The worst noise is when shifting from Reverse to Drive (or vice
versa) as the unit tends to increase the level of the standard Dodge "clunk" of
their automatics.

One thing to be cautious about is lighting up the tires when turning... The
rear-end will really kick out on ya' fast! I think this is the case with a lsd
(or any other type of traction aiding device) as well though.

For wet weather on the street the locker is the balls! The first time I drove
around in the rain I couldn't believe the difference in traction. I installed
mine primarily for hunting season when I'm driving on some old jeep trails,
snowmobile trails, dirt roads, snow and general wheeling when the opportunity
presents itself... I also like to cruise the beaches off of Cape Cod, MA and
it's great there too.

Neal A. out in Hawaii installed the same unit in his truck for primarily street
use... If you're reading this Neal could ya' give Alex here some insight?

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide on. Either way (lsd or locker), I
think you will be pleased with the improved traction.
Tom

Hey, thanks Tom!

What effects have you noticed since you installed it in regard to street
handling, cornering, noise, tire wear, other side effects -- the usual
stuff? Any info greatly appreciated.

My needs are more for slick surfaces (rain/snow) and the occasional
dirt-road camping trip than for off-roading. Traction sucks in these trucks
as far as anything but dry pavement goes (stock tires)! What conditions did
you get it for, mainly?
