It could be as simple as the bulb blowing out due to a quick short or
something. Beyond that I haven't a clue.

I dont know if anyon ehere knows a ton about the electronics on the
dakotas... I got a 97 4x4, and I had clutch put in it, well now 4x4 light
doesnt come on when engaged.... the cables ARE hooked up.... so I was
wondering if this might be a fuse... I looked but didnt see any that
necessarily applied. (4x4 works great, just no light)
