Well this will be my last week at my current job, working for a local park
department. I graduated from college in May and found a job where I will
make more money, until I can find a career job related to my degree;
Criminal Justice. I have been testing everywhere for the past year and am
currently testing in 5 departments trying to become......yes.....a police
officer. So I will be unemployed all next week, how unfortunate with hunting
season opening up Sunday :)
My new job, I will start on the 9th and will be working 40-60 hours a week
and driving about 30 minutes one way. I will be making about 30%-40% more
than I made at the park dept, but I still want to get into law enforcement.
So this job will due until then, and that could take upto 3 years for my
goal career. My new job title: Warehouse Manager! I will be the warehouse
manager, which supplies 7 local stores with goods and products, which is all
worth about $5million, so I am a bit nervous, but am anxious to get started
and take on the challenge.
So this entire fall and winter will be savings time for me, and my truck.
Come spring.......lookout for a Dak rehash project. Updates will follow in
the months coming.........
