Well you can get a 610 hp 528 HEMI for about $13 grand....
Much cheaper than a new dually!

I love my, truck, don't get me wrong, but if I had it to over again I would
have a '99 deep amethyst 318 truck.I am looking to buy another truck in a
year or two,not get rid of the dakota, just make it a full-on
 show/street/race truck.I will be buying a 4wd flatbed dually.If I was buying
right now, it would definitely be a dodge with the cummins, but I'm not sure
what is going to happen with the ram trucks.I have been trying to figure out
if the vortec 8100 chevrolet is an iron or aluminum head motor. If it is iron
head, it will be a strong possibility.I also like what ford's done with the
super duty F-550.(Dana 135 rearend),but the powersmoke is no match for the
cummins. So, right now, it's a toss-up.I am going to wait and see what dodge
does. If the new ram interior looks like the '01 dakota, it will be hard to
buy from them.I just don't like it.I may just say screw all of them and
build up the old work truck('74 dodge flatbed dually w/560,000 miles on
original tranny & rearend,fuel-injected 318 motor) or something similar in a
4wd.Sorry for rambling about my wants and desires,
