WARNING!!!

You can NOT run the factory rims at all. (I've been through this already
with my Fabtech Kit.) The kit requires a MAXIMUM of 3.75" backspacing. The
factory rims are 5.5". They'll rub on the upper control arms.

As for the quality of the kit...I love it! Never had a problem with it.

Subject: DML: big tires 'n backspacing...& Fabtech

Hey guys,
Couple 'O questions I've bee bouncing around.
I have a 99 V8 CC that is still wearing it's original 235/75-15s, and want
to run a larger tire --bear in mind that I will be installing the Fabtech
3" lif in about a week, so if that creats new issues...........
I'd like to run a 31x10.5 tire; however I have the stock15x7 wheels. Are
any of you running this wheel/tire size with the lift? Would it be a
better idea to get a set of the factory 15x8 wheels (don't know what their
backspacing is) Or.........should I start saving my pennies for a new set
of wheels.
And ...........what does all of this mean as far as recalibrating my PCM??
From what I gather from past postings, not all dealers even perform the
recal

BTW the variety of aftermarket wheels for our 6x4.5 bolt circles seems
pretty dismal from my recent research.

How do those of you w/ the Fabtech kit like it?
I hope I didn't throw too much out at once but thanks for any input.
