Yes, the slots are cut in the flywheel. They are located at different
degree settings between the V6 and V8.

I need to know about the flywheel in relation to the crank position sensor.
Are the slots to trigger the sensor incorporated into the flywheel or is
there a separate piece that bolts into the front of the flywheel? I want to
retain the v6 flywheel but don't know if its possible.
