You don't need the mag pickup wire.
1) big red goes to same place as battery +
2) big black goes to same place as battery -
3) small red goes to 12-volt switched (ignition key)
4) white goes to distributor (-)
5) orange goes to coil +
6) small black goes to coil -

I was just out at Heartland Park, KS and watched the races, and MSD was
there and taking Bernd's advise, I bought an MSD "refurbished" unit for 210
bucks. Anyways, The rep told me that it usually is a BRAND NEW unit and
that it's a "refurbed" because of a cosmetic flaw or something to that
effect..
Anyhow...
There are about 4-5 wire you need to hook up on that thing.
1) power
2) ground
3) orange? goes to my blaster 2 coil + or something
4) black goes to my blaster 2 coil -?
5) the "White magnetic pickup wire?" where can I find that?
I also believe I'm gonna snip the green wire, and that's about it.
Also. Bernd, where did you mount your MSD? Tried to look for it on your
site, but didn't see a picture...
