Mine used to idle around 900 all the time. I replaced the Throttle Position
Sensor, Air Idle Sensor, and the Coolant Temperature Sensor and it now idles
right around 500-600. Alot smoother than what it used to. GenII V6 Dakota
are set to idle at 600 rpms.
