I would be up for that Chuck. If you want some help setting something up,
I'm willing to help out.

BTW, at the Mopars in Motion club picnic/meeting yesterday, I tabled a
motion to divide a couple of classes including the truck class. The club is
still concerned with dividing the class and not having anyone show up like
the AMC class we had at the Holley show. So this is what I purposed.

(1) We maintain the existing 15 classes with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies
with the class labeled on the brass plaque.

(2) We order 3 extra sets of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies with no class
labeled.

(3) We order a supply of extra brass plaques labeled "Honorable Mention"

(4) We set a mandatory limit on the size of a class. I gave 20 as the first
cut off number. If a class reaches 20 vehicles, there is a mandatory class
split. That continues for each additional 10. Example, the Holley show had
30 trucks, that would have divided the class in three classes. Where to
split would be decided on a case by case bases. If we have a large turn out
of Dakotas and there is a class split, then Dakotas become their own class.
Likewise with the other trucks, 93 and older, 94 and up, etc...

(5) Any class that does not use it's full compliment of trophies, (IE., the
AMC class, 3 trophies, 2 cars) The extra trophy is retagged with one of the
"Honorable Mention" plaques and given out in one of the larger classes.

What do you think? Do you think that would be a fair way to do it? We
still have to look at it this way, the shows are fund raising events for the
club. The club doesn't want to buy extra trophies if they are not going to
be utilized. One of the other classes brought up was the B-Body class which
was almost as big as the truck class. Any suggestions would be considered.
We won't be voting on it until the next meeting in Dec.
