John of Intenseperformance.com can fabricate one from scratch. Look on his
site and see his work. There are some Mopar Engineer who are impressed with
John works on TB. I could not tell you how much he would charge.

It would be interesting to find out if we could apply the Viper TB on the
4.7.

Yep, thats the thing to keep in mind here, My primary goal is 1/4 mile
racing, and everyone may have different goals, towing, or maybe just a
little perf. increase, or maybe a fuel mileage increase. My custom PCM will
be very close to the Mopar PCM, only difference is I'm going a little more
on the timing advance, other than that its a Mopar PCM for all practical
purposes.

The TB is about 63 mm, about the most you could "hope" to bore it would be
around 66 mm, there just isn't any room to play. If a new casting was
produced in the aftermarket, around 75mm, it may be worth looking into, or
retro fitting a TB from another vehicle.

<Matt-

<I like your schedule better than mine. I have a "tow" truck not a racer!
<Still mine seems to find its way into some interesting "situations".
<Buttonwillow at the end of the month and back to the Drag Strip in early
<November.

<The only reason I consider putting the PCM off is because of the choice
<between the Mopar PCM (assuming it EVER gets released for our trucks) and a
<custom job. It you're only going to do the basic mods the Mopar unit is
<fine. If you're going deeper, then a custom flash is probably the ticket.

<I think people do misjudge the 4.7L TB's because of the single bore. It's
<probably too much to ask for people to remember that pesky area of a circle
<<formula. :-) The 4.7L unit is fairly good sized.
