Last I heard the 5.7 will only be in the Jeep SUV. And there is NO release
date for a Hemi-Dak. But My guess is by then they will have ditched the 360
and they will need a replacement other than the 4.7 -- Have you driven a
4.7? My Durango has the 4.7 and it is quite peppy, not as much as my R/T Dak
but will still outrun most any other SUV's out there. And from what people
are saying about their 4.7 Dak's... you might want to go test drive one.

The wife wants to get a QC Dakota (loves mine), but
I've been trying to put it off until next Aug. or
Sept. so I could get a 4x4 QC Hemi. But now I hearing
rumors that the RT will not have them till 2003. I
can't believe DC would put them in the non-RT first.
So if the Hemi's aren't going to make it then I'll buy
her a 2001 and trade/sell my v6 QC in 2003 for a Hemi
QC.
