IMO, the Dynomax SuperTurbo actually "sounds" best on a V8. Performance
wise, i've just had better results with Flowmaster.

sounds deep and fairly quiet. Also, by buddy has a magnaflow (straight
through) on his 5.9 durango. It has a deep powerful sound as well. I have
never heard the flowmaster before. Do you mean that the magnaflow is
louder?
