To whom it may concern at Consumer Reports:

I purchased a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with a V6 engine in May of this
year. I
completely disagree with your assessment of the "anemic" V6's power. I drive
my
truck 90 miles each day, to and from work. I find it has the power to get in
and
out of traffic and the acceleration to get around the daily idiots on the
road.
Does it have the power of a V8? Obviously not. I believe your assessment is
made
based on this comparison. The Magnum V6 is a very good engine for those
looking
for a decent balance between power and fuel economy.
