Jake,

Shackles are sort of like drop brackets for your leaf springs. They mount between the leafs springs
and the frame. (Like spacers)
AS far as my lift: I added 4" blocks in the rear, cranked up my torsion bars, have the 3" rancho
suspension lift, and the 3" performance accessories body lift. In order to get the clearance I needed
for the 35"x12.50" I had to cut the inner fender (Plastic) near/behind the doors. I used a dremmel (rotary tool)
to get a nice smooth cut.

I also have a 97 CC 4x4. I've been looking into lifts and want the most bang
I can get for the bucks I got. So what are shackles? What did you do for your
7" lift? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks- JAKE.
