What year is your Dakota? i have a 96 with a newly installed Sir Micheal's
roll pan. I didn't weld it in b/c if someone hit me in the rear again, then
it would have to be cut out and that could get messy real quick. So I had it
painted and installed it. I should have some pics of it up on the web soon.
Maybe your pan is hanging too low, I only have like a 3/8" gap in mine. I've
had many comments about it and even talked someone else into getting one for
their truck and I am gonna help them install it also.
