They say it takes two-three years to fade. That's with no tonneau cover.
The sun's UV rays is what kills the color. If you regularly use a tonneau
cover or keep it covered or garaged you won't encounter that problem as
soon. Of course, just last month I learned that the Line-X franchise here
in Irvine, CA, just licensed a new product (not part of Line-X) that will
restore the color and it's warranted for three years as well. If that is
really the case, you can now color to your heart's content without a
problem. This new stuff is $29.95 a bottle and one bottle will last more
than an entire application. This stuff is hand applied with a sponge
applicator, kind of like wax. I, myself, haven't tried it so don't start
killing the messenger.

Lots of talk about the spray in liners fading over time. I would like to
hear from some folks who've had them on awhile...

I have a Speedliner, green. Had it one year so far without any fading. I
park outside (hope to correct that) and it does not rain in Middle Georgia
so we've had the sun. I paid $250 for over the rail.

I would like to hear from some others...
