Subject: Re: DML: rear end
Well, Just called unitrax. They recommend 3 different rear end options:
1. trailmaster, or trail locker posi (something like that) - $225.00
2. aburn posi (sp?) - $310
3. power tracks no slip (true locker) - 403.50
he said the power tracks is best since it keep rear wheels locked at all
times,
unless you go around a corner. it's a little harsh on tires though.
Since I'm not doing a whole lot of 4x4ing, i was hoping a regular posi would
be
sufficient, for like street use - to keep the inside rear wheel from going
nutz!
I got the 4x4 for occasional use, like to get to the good camp sites. I
hate
hiking... 6 years in the USMC did that to me!
Any opinions?
Thanks,
