Platinums have a 3 year warranty w/unlimited milage. I still like to change
mine every year or 10k. Double platinums have a 5yr unlimited milage
warranty. I used to change copper cores every 5-6k and they were still
good. But I like doing it and 10-15 bucks every 6-10k is no prob for me.
