Just a quick note to let everyone know that the fall version of
the BBQ and Trail Ride (Daktoberfest 2000) is less than 2 weeks
away! Its Friday-Sunday October 20-22nd, at my place. Here is

If you are planning on coming down, please write to me and let
me know so I can plan in advance! (I need to know how much food
to get, how many vehicles to expect, etc.)
Although this is a DML meet, it has been expanded somewhat.
The Central Ontario 4x4 club has been invited, so some of those
folks might show up, and Peter Cutler's club, SCORE (Salt City
Offroad Enthusiasts) have been invited as well, and I know some
of those guys will show up. Oh, speaking of which, does anyone
want to find out how their Dak stacks up against a Hummer? Ben
Evans will be here Saturday and Sunday with his '93 AM General.
The mud pit isn't in yet, but I am optomistic. If this darn
rain will ever stop, the dozer will be able to dig one out for
us. The current plan is to make it about 2 feet deep, some of
which will be mud, some will be water. Speaking of rain, yep
there has been a lot of rain, and you know what that means...
Lots of MUD! :-)

PS: I'm working on digitizing some video from this year's BBQ,
