I'm surprised that the valves and pistons would tangle when the chain (belt)
broke. What engine is it? I know when I had my distributor drive gear
problems at 80,000 miles complaining to Dodge Customer Relations did get
some of the parts paid for. They would have paid for more and possibly even
labor but I went to an independent shop not Dodge. I would hit the Cust.
Relations hard on this if I felt I had a leg to stand on.
