That is RIDICULOUS!!! Free flowing exhaust improves gas mileage.
Now...Sometimes people run too big of primaries and the engine runs poorly
and looses low end. But that's not an issue with the trucks cause all the
headers are short small tube crappy headers. NONE FLOW TOO MUCH!!!
Remember that often you won't see much of a benefit from headers or in some
cases you may even run a LITTLE worse, if you've done no other mods. Think
system!
You will always run into people who are Anti-Headers. They are simply
wrong! Sometimes headers simply aren't worth the pain and the cost.
That's a different issue.
