I wondered about the pinging problem and the general disgust over the Jet
module in V8 Magnums.
Traditionally, the 360 was very intolerant of too much advance in the top
end. I high speed retard would pick up MPH substantially in the stockers.
I always felt the 318 liked a little more advance than the 360. But the
engines I had to compare had very different modifications.
I'm thinking about trying the Jet in the 4.7L. At $217 and immediately
available its very tempting. And if I don't like it, either send it back
or sell it on ebay. The way eBay works maybe I can double my money!
