Your dealer actually put colder plugs in? Wow, that's a first. What'd they
put in there? Don't let them retard the timing. Just go to 89 octane and
see if that might cure it.

After a new computer (oem) update flash and cooler plugs installed by
Dodge, my 99 318 Dak 4x4 still pings faintly. I made another
appointment to have it looked at again. I'm starting to hear that
pinging in some late model Dodge trucks is a pretty common thing. Any
one have any experience with this?
