Kevin, you do not have to replace the whole axle to change the gearing in
your differential. What is required is a replacement of the RIng & Pinion
gears inside the differential itself. I just went from 3.55s to 4.10s myself,
BIG difference.
the parts will run about 200 or so, labor about 300-400 at most drivetrain
shops.
