Page 19 of the Fall 2000 Dodge Owners Magazine has an article on 100,000
mile tune up. Fine if you're a Northstar owner or a 95 Z28 owner. Hardly
a value to me in a 4.7L with the airbox removed for a Quick D intake.

It states clearly in the article that the coil on plug design is a low
voltage system which depends on Double Platinum plugs to deliver adequate
spark.

I would not use them in a hipo system, but it seems the right thing to use
in a 4.7L. So far, I have 8 responses saying COPPER ONLY (since the first
time I asked this question). Nobody has said stay with the DP's.

But every response has been based on the wrong engine or the wrong set up.
What is appropriate for the 4.7L and the limitations of its ignition???
