Hey, I had a similar experience,A mechanic friend of mine had a '95 3.9
dakota to come into his shop after it had overheated because of a bad water
pump.He went to the parts store, and asked for a water pump and gasket for a
'95 3.9 dakota. They said nobody made them.He tried evrry parts store in town
even asking for any year 3.9L and ram applications. He called me because I AM
the local authority on Dodge and especially dakota stuff. He called me and
told me he his problem.I asked him, where would you prefer it to be bought
from? He said Napa, and I drove my dakota down to napa, walked in and said,I
need a water pump&gasket for a '95 5.2l magnum dakota.Got the pump, had the
gasket in the box.Took it down to his shop and put it on the dakota myself
in less than half an hour it was done.He was amazed and I let him nag me for
2 or 3 days about it before I told him.Funny that they don't list parts for
the 3.9's Huh? Will

Had a hard time finding Autolite plug wires for my V6 Dak.
Went to Checker store here in Madison.Asked for the right ones..
Manager looked at me,"they dont make wires for that truck"
I said,ok,sell me the wires for the 5.2.I'll have 2 extra wires.
(Box #86634)..Manager said,"You need the proper wires,and i wont sell u
those"..I said i belong to the DML.Its a list of Dakota owners...we share
info about truck accessories"..

He said,"fine but i cant sell u the wrong box of wires"

WTF is going on here..left,went to buy them elsewhere...

I'm not going to Checker ever again..
Can u believe these idiots??
