I wonder if this is the same story getting rehashed over and over again
by every website out there (like a bad game of "Telephone") or if this
is a real story that's getting uncovered by a lot of people with
different sources all at the same time.
With the exception of the earnings reports, is it possible that this is
all a smokescreen to take the world by surprise? I would think that if
DC wanted to improve sales, they'd be moving forward with some of these
"radical" new cars, rather than killing them off. Nothing like pulling
out eye-catching new designs to improve your sales and image. If you
kill those off, you're just kicking out cookie-cutter family cars &
vans, and "average" work trucks.
One possible good result of these cuts? Maybe the MaXXCab won't see the
light of day. We can hope...
