Geoffrey, don't have a water pump leak but for the benefit of others whose
shift indicator is off, this is a really simple fix or at least it was on my
'99.
1. Pull off the front dash panel
2. Remove the lower steering column cover
3. You will see a small cable, and a white thumb screw. You turn the thumb
screw to adjust the orange indicator.
Very simple process.
