David - when you install the new plugs, make sure they go in at least
a couple turns *by hand* - don't start tightening with a wrench until
you're sure they're threaded correctly. You don't want a stripped spark
plug hole.
Speaking of spark plugs... all you people that use 3923's, I have a question
for you. This may be trivial, but - when you put the little metal gasket
on the plug, which way do you put it? The gasket has two layers, and one
side is slightly larger in diameter than the other side. On the stock
champion plugs that came out of my V6, the gasket had two layers and both
are exactly the same diameter. Does it make any difference which way they
go on?
