Wow - thats interesting. Is that aluminum? or galvanized?

What kind of difference does this make for your truck?
The first mod I did on my truck was the simple addition
of the 10" edelbrock open element air can, and it made
my truck run like a dog so I switched back to stock.
Does your ram air box help alleviate this? Alls mine
did was suck hot air from around the engine, but it looks
like you get around that issue.

What about the ram air inlet - have you noticed if any
rainwater/road debris/etc gets in there? My new setup
(I don't have a pic yet) uses 3" PVC pipe with a big ol'
K&N cone filter located next to the radiator, just inside
the rubber splashguard thingee where your inlet is. I've
considered modifying this to provide relatively unobstructed
airflow directly to my filter, but I don't want to do this
if it'll get extremely wet/dirty from the extra exposure.
