My brother forwarded this to me from a newsgroup he frequents:

99 Silverado 5.3L

I am thinking on downgrading my engine from a 5.3L to a 4 cyl Sunfire
engine for fuel purposes...

I was wondering if anyone had done anything similar to this. I would of
course be changing the transmission as well as exhaust ecu etc...

Those damn gas prices are too damn high, pisses me off, so I will piss
them off by downgrading engines... Those selfish petrol companies...

Revolt... And you will winn the battle..
