Flowmetrics has them also (you keep the Dodge TB) in a billet version.

Subject: DML: Re: airhat brace removal

I bought an intake from QuickD and it comes with what
Tony calls an "S" hook that allows you to take the
airhat brace out. The brace is usually held in place
by a silver colored bolt and a seperate black bolt
hold the airhat down. You remove the brace and
replace it using the S hook. The S hook is threaded
on both sides and it comes with a locknut and washer
which is used to tighten down the airhat.
As far as if it has made a difference, I think it has.
Visually speaking, it looks like a cleaner flow is
possible. I do notice the engine revs up to 4,000
easier. I will be looking into replacing the TB with
one from either QuickD or Magnum Performance. Don't
know which is better deal yet. Peter
