Yes, you use the same glue that you use to reattach rear view mirrors.
I have found that mirrors stay attached much better if you glue the
button on and let it set up 24 hours, then attach the mirror. So, you
may want to glue the latch on with the window slightly cracked open,
wait overnight, then shut it.
