That may seem true, Mike, but it isn't.

The PS pump is constantly creating pressure that is not used and is bled back into the
low pressure side.

Your PS pump will work no harder with a fan making use of the normally 'wasted'
pressure. Trust me. The engineers have done a really good thing here.
