Well, I did it, The 4.7L broke the 14.2 sec. barrier, normally aspirated!!!

The weather was absolutely perfect, except for the 10-15 mph cross wind.
 First run I went 14.28 @ 93.78 mph, next run I went 14.23 @ 94.49, then I
had to wait 2.5 hours for eliminations, by then it was night time and the
dew
was falling. I new the times would fall off. I ended up with a by run, ran
14.45 @ 92.5, and then my final run, I ran out, dialed in at 14.48, ran a
 14.40 @ 92.66.
 Also have a new best 1/8 time of 9.04 @ 75.93 mph

Yesterday I added the 180 t-stat, put the Bosch Plat. +4's back in, and
added
the NOS octane booster "race only" silver bottle to about 6 gallons of gas
!!!!!! I also left the K&N filter ON today, I usually take it off.

I am stoked right now, I had predicted I'd gain a .10 sec. today from the
Leach PCM, but the combination of everything I did yesterday gave me .25
sec, and I backed it up with a second run !!!!! I'm also happy with the
fact
I ran 94.49 mph, that is 3 mph faster than before !!!!

Engine mods to date : Homemade air intake, Flowmaster Cat-Back, Leach PCM,
 Bosch +4's, 180 T-stat, Mobil 1.

Chassis Mods to date : 28" Slicks, T-bars, 2" lowering blocks, Deutch Tech
 shocks.

Wow, great times Matt. That's the fastest I've heard of with minimal mods.
