Merger is just the PC term for bought out or take over. That is all. There
is no such thing as a merger. There is always a dominant side and it looks
like we Mopar fans got the shaft on this one. I was looking forward to
buying my 300N too. All we can hope is that some one over in Germany
eventually realizes that they if they unleash the Chrysler division and let
it operate as its own functional group they'll gain a lot of market share
and sales that they'll currently loose. As much as it burns me to say it,
I'll be driving a Ford or GM product before I'll go to the Benz dealer to
look for a full sized SUV or sports sedan.

I can't believe that anyone believed that it was anything but a hostile take
over.. having experienced a few takeovers as an employee, I have found there
is no such thing as a merger of equals, or a friendly take over.
I guess it shows how naive chrysler and numerous chrysler fans we're.

I'm not surprised in the least. But that still doesn't mean
I'm not hopping mad!! The stockholders ignored the warnings
and they've ruined Chrysler. (And probably their own portfolios
in the process.) (Calvin + Benz decals, anyone?) :-P
