The Jet Chip Stage II was $213.97 from 4 Wheel Wholesalers in Burbank.
They also sell over the internet or through their retail stores. First
they quoted $261. I asked them about the price on the web site and they
said I could have that price.

I'm also getting Pro Comp ES9000 shocks (Bernd's fault) installed Thursday
morning. Couldn't get'em installed intime for Buttonwillow. I may get a
set for my dad's RAM 4x4 if they feel good on my DAK. Dad has a 98 360
Club Cab 4x4 with 33" tires. But he drives it like it were a sports car.
Really scary, but he's the best natural driver I have ever met, seen,
witnessed. Now that he's retired from racing he's gotta have some fun
right??? Down right scary though to see a 33" tired 4x4 Ram doing four
wheel drifts. He really complains about the stock shocks though, so I
thought I'd get him the Pro Comps.

I'm looking forward to the 18th at Carlsbad. The truck is running SOOOO
much stronger than it did when I ran 15.80 in March bone stock in a four
week old truck. I don't think its enough to get into the 14's. Maybe I'll
swap one run with my wife. I want to drive the Intrepid once anyway.
Driver weight of 140 versus 340??? I think the 200lbs might make the
difference, if I can teach her to drive it. She knows what she's doing,
she's bracket raced. But she's never really driven the truck and the
launch is a little delicate. I may flog it for two runs, figure out tire
pressures and launch rpm, then let her see if she can rip off a 14! Maybe
I should rip out that damn bedliner....
