Hey! Way to go Steve. How much did you pay totally for the chip and is it a
Stage II version?

What is strange is the temperature is staying low even when I've been
driving for a LONG time under load. Like over the Grapevine Sunday night.
Of course it was cold and rainy but I was storming up the hill at 70mph.
You'd think that would warm her up even if the thermostat was stuck open.
I've run not thermostat at all in the Race cars and a few times in the
Cuda. It would warm up, eventually.

Makes we wonder if, the Jet Chip is doing this, or if I damaged the temp
sensor wiring or something while I was changing plugs. The temp gauge does
move! Just low most of the time. When I came off a hot lap at
Buttonwillow and was idling in pre-grid it did get up to 210 a few times.
I guess bouncing off the rev limiter in 2nd gear will do that...

As far as I'm concerned I won Sporttruck on Sunday, I was fast truck in the
rain running with my group. One driver was given one extra lap because a
dispute over mud on the course. They gave the guy the run in the next run
group in the dry... I could have run faster in a School Bus at that point.
And I was fast time of day for the trucks on Saturday, but the quick runs
came in my X runs after I ran my class and don't count except for pride.
All in all the best the truck has ever done. Remember everybody else I run
against has highly modified suspensions. I have my stock suspension SLT+
Club Cab!!! Gary Pinkley wasn't there. He would have dusted me!!!

| Engine is cold too long. Engine coolant temperature remains below normal
| operating temperature during vehicle travel (Thermostat problem).
|
| The above is right out of the FSM. You're stuck in open loop too....not
to
| mention your t-stat stuck open.
