>>Hello DML members, I have a 91 Dakota with a 3.9L V6. I would like to
know something I can do to that engine that will make it run a lil better,
most of all making it have more power.<<
Ah! A fellow premagger!!
There's lots of stuff out there. Start with the exhaust. A 2.5" exhaust
system will do you just right. Don't go bigger than 2.5 tho, otherwise
you'll hurt performance. Edelbrock and Pacesetter both make headers for the
premag 6er. Also, opening up the intake side helps. Just get an open element
14x3 K&N. Top it off with a JET stage II (works great on premags) and you'll
be happy =) Also, the ignition in the premags is a week link, so you'll find
performance in upgrading that too.
hope this helps!
