Depends on what Dakota you have. Raybestos does not make the ceramics for
98-01 Dakotas yet. Though they're quieter, their stopping times and
recovery times are longer. I talked to Raybestos and they recommend the
semi-metallic pads for high performance vehicles like the Dakota.

I really like my Wagner MX series semi metalic pads on my Dakota, but if you
want to go all out go with the Raybestos Ceramic pads---->very little break
dust, extremely quiet, great stoping power, and great pad life! If they
made
them for my truck I'd have them!
