Cough cough....B--ls--t....cough....(Referring to the spark curves)

The 87 octane should work just fine in a 9.1:1 engine (prefer 89 though) but
those spark curves are just too darn aggressive for the crappy 87 octane
fuel we have these days. You can run 89 without ANY problems at all.

Seems about right to me anyway... the spark curves are set up for the
burning
rate of 87, or so they say cause if that was true, then it would never ping.
