I don't believe I understand the question. Filters are filters, with the
exception of construction (Mobil 1 being among the best)--you can use them
with synth or dino oil equally well, though why you'd use a $10 oil filter
with .89 oil is beyond me. I personally used Mobil1 filters and Mobil 1
10W30 for quite a while, until I found a reliable source of Purolator
Pure1 filters, which are rated just slightly better than the M1s (the only
filter that is, in fact), and were $5 as opposed to $10. So for the last
3 or 4 changes I've used the Pure1 with Mobil1 oil.
