Wes, it's amazing that you should post this! I was going over in my head how
to word the EXACT same thoughts! I too have spent MUCHO $ to cure what should
have never been, and am thinking it's time to move on, but I might try a Ram
before defecting. After brass cap & rotor, 3923s, 180 t-stat, F & B t/b, K &
N Gen II, Flowmaster, MSD, Mallory 8mm wires with coil wire along top of
valve cover, no belly pan leak, EVERYTHING the list recommends but the PCM
flash (which I won't do), and it STILL pings like a bastard on Amoco 93 from
day one!!! Just about 14k now & 2 years owning, so it might be up for grabs
soon. Bummer, because I love the truck but for the ping. It's just TOO
embarrasing pulling away from every light with a lotto machine under the
hood. :(
